RECRUITING PROCESS
Barilla is constantly searching for the best people who are about to finish or have just finished brilliantly their studies and who are interested in participating in an internship/stage program both in and outside the country. For these reasons, a preference will be given to people who have spent some time in the past in another country or can speak one or more foreign languages.
In the section Job Opportunities, students and graduates can find the general description of the company sectors where the internships take place, while those who have a work experience of more than two years can find the list of the positions recently opened in different company areas and countries.
We ask to send your application and C.V by Internet. BY this method, the candidates can access their data and update it any time they feel it is necessary. This system allows us the opportunity to efficiently and to quickly manage the applications received and to evaluate whether they respond or not to the company's specific needs. The data will be collected in a central data bank together with other Curriculum Vitas collected from the main Universities and Postgraduate schools.
In the selection process, which is very rigorous and highly structured, we employ the Assessment behavioral method. This method includes exercises and simulations that aim to foresee the correspondence between the personal profile of the candidate and the potential behavior expected by Barilla. Some of the main requirements are leadership qualities, proactivity, passion and expectation for high results, team-working personality, and finally to be client oriented. The candidate will meet a person in charge of the Human Resources management and one or more Line Managers, in order to get become well acquainted with each other.
